Alan McGaw is the visionary designer of the MADDEL Package. Alan has had 40 years experience in construction covering residential, commercial and industrial construction; 20 of those years in sales and marketing of building materials and systems on a national and international level; 10 years in his own commercial construction company. He is experienced in technical and sales training and in developing innovative building systems. During his career, Alan has helped build more than 500 houses in Australia and Asia.

After studying aeronautical engineering at the University of Sydney and graduating from the Royal Australian Air Force Academy in 1978, Ian worked for several years as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. In the mid- 80's, and gained a reputation as a practical, hands-on engineer/builder. He ran contracting businesses, specializing in remote area building projects, within Australia and the Philippines. While in Manila, Ian was involved in building system innovation & development, manufacturing, and construction.
